Shimp and Veggie Stir Fry

Serves: 4 hungry people or 2 normal bears

Bear Hands (author): No meal is eaten without it being at least ¼ - ½ vegetables. Seafood only enhances the situation.

Hubby Bear (eater): Get a good sear on the shrimp to make them colorful and flavorful. Obviously goes good with rice, but we’ve eaten them with cold noodles too.

There are evenings when the most sensible thing one can do is surrender to the elegance of the simplest options available – those being whatever you have on hand and a hotly quick “one pan” approach as is so fondly (and frequently) said in western kitchens. This dish is precisely that sort of pleasure—quick, colourful, and gratifyingly straightforward, yet still refined enough to feel like a proper little culinary occasion.
